Tyler Wowk


Wowk, a native of St. Paul, AB, has been with Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment since its inception in early 2015 and has been heavily involved in the hockey development area of the company.

Prior to joining SISE, Wowk worked for Serdachny Power Skating from 2008-2015, focusing on on-ice player development. Skill development became a passion for Wowk, working with a widespread of age groups and skill levels, from novice to professional, it was always a learning experience and something he truly found rewarding.

In 2017-18 Wowk was named Skills Coach of the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Spruce Grove Saints, alongside Steven Goertzen. Throughout his years of player development, Wowk has been fortunate enough to work with many players who have gone on to play in the NHL, NCAA, WHL and professionally around the world. Notables include current NHL players Dylan Cozens (BUF), Kevin Connauton (FLA) and Elias Petterson (VAN).
